Ehrhardt Leus & Associates is an independent corporate finance boutique, focused on IT, Telecom, Media and Services. In case of a Management Buy Out, we may deviate from our industry focus, especially when we believe in the business case and the management team.

As deal makers we get involved in trade sales, strategic acquisitions, divestments, financing (venture capital, private equity, debt), joint ventures, strategic alliances and Management Buy-Outs. Our assignments often include the preparation of valuations, and almost always cover the entire process, from preparing documentation up to the final negotiations.

The transactions we support, are mostly in the range of € 2 – 100 million. Most of our assignments are in North Western Europe: the Benelux, UK, France and Germany, with potential buyers or investors from all over the globe (including the US, India and China, depending on the specific situation).

Our industry focus enables us to offer our clients a deep understanding of the market in which they operate, the value drivers and the relevant market, technology and business developments. Often we know the potential buyers or investors, and understand their strategy and considerations to acquire or invest.

Ehrhardt Leus & Associates is not just Paul Ehrhardt and Erik Leus. We are set up as a network organization with Associate Directors and business partners whom we can involve in specific transactions and cross-border deals. As a network organization, we are by nature very well connected to handle international and cross-border transactions, and have worked with clients in the Benelux, France, Germany and the UK, with potential buyers or investors from all over the world.

We are very picky in accepting an assignment. We consider it important for both our clients and ourselves, that there is a “click”. Of course we have to be convinced of the (business of the) company, the quality of the team, the market and the company’s prospects, to accept an assignment and come to a successful transaction.

Our fee structure is simple. We will charge a retainer fee, to ensure the commitment of our clients, and, after achieving a successful transaction, a success fee will be charged.
