Management Buy Out of CARe Schadeservice (consisting of CARe Schadeservice BV in the Netherlands and CARe Carosserie NV in Belgium) from Athlon Holding to CARe’s management and NPM Capital. Ehrhardt Leus & Associates represented the management team of CARe Schadeservice in this transaction.
After Athlon Holding (now part of De Lage Landen), one of the leading car lease companies in the Netherlands, decided to divest CARe Schadeservice, the management team of CARe, with support of Ehrhardt Leus & Associates, indicated its interest in a Management Buy Out (MBO). Together with NPM Capital, management succeeded in its mission. Through this MBO, CARe was able to further expand and secure the continuity of the business. NPM Capital has proven to be an excellent fit with the Management of CARe.
Current status:
CARe Schadeservice more than doubled it’s EBITDA and expanded internationally, through a buy-build strategy, supported by NPM Capital. The company was sold within 3 years to AAC Capital, with a significant return for both NPM Capital and CARe’s management team.
