Ehrhardt Leus & Associates represented the shareholders of Speedlinq in the successful trade sale of Speedlinq to KPN.
Speedlinq was the fastest growing ADSL company in the Netherlands in 2004 and 2005. The Company had, at the time of the acquisition, almost 40.000 customers and had been tested the fastest ISP 7 times in a row, and was elected “Best Buy” by the Dutch Consumer Association in January 2006. KPN acquired Speedlinq to increase market share in the broadband market.
Current status:
Speedlinq is completely integrated in the KPN organization. Speedlinq’s management succeeded to double the number of customers within one year after the acquisition, making this a very succesful transaction, both for the former Speedlinq shareholders, as for KPN.
